Top and Bottom box style is one of the most simple and popular for packaging boxes.
This style consists of 2 parts; a bottom box and a top lid.
These are again classified into 3 types.
In this box style, the top lid completely covers the bottom box.
So you only need to create an artwork for the exterior surface of the top cover. This makes the design process much simpler.
They come with thumb cut notches on the lid for ease in opening the boxes.
This style is recommended for flat boxes where the depth of the box is less.
These can be made in rigid board, paper board, corrugated board as well as kraft board
With partial cover style, the top cover only partly onto the bottom box and some of the bottom box is left exposed.
The artwork needs to be created for both the top lid and exposed bottom box.
These boxes are ideally suited for boxes which has increased depth.
These can be made in rigid board, paper board, corrugated board as well as kraft board.
In Top and Bottom Box with inside wall, you will find a wall running inside the bottom box and the top lid gets snugly fixed on this wall.
There are again 2 options; one where the top lid touches the bottom box.
The second option is; when closed; some part of the wall is visible giving the boxes a premium feel.
The artwork needs to be created for both the top lid and the bottom box.
These boxes are ideally suited for high end products and jewellery.
